I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and emigrated to the United States when I was around eighteen years of age, leaving behind, as so many of us, friends, family, memories, places and people that we loved./Nací en Buenos Aires, Argentina, y emigré a los Estados Unidos a los diez y ocho años de edad. I was always interested in the power of visual images, and I travelled through several countries of Latin America, where I learned about so many stories of struggle and hope. Some are included in my documentaries, screened at numerous national and international festivals – www.tiempoazul.org

I taught Cinema Studies at Ramapo College of New Jersey for twenty-five years, and I am now exploring new roads – “nuevos caminos.” I intend to reveal some of them in this website, a work-in-progress, as most of our lives are.
